I desperately need a solution because this is due today and I do not have time to rewrite the entire report. I did attempt copying and pasting into a google docs, but none of the formatting is retained and that is something I need to keep. I am absolutely out of ideas, and I'm too nervous to exit word because I can't afford to lose this work. What's even more odd, is the quick access menu of the file explorer shows the newĭocument name I attempted to save, but when I try to navigate to the folder it's in I am directed to the correct folder which does not contain the file. I click save,Īnd it goes back to the word document without giving me any errors, but the document is still named "document 1" and the file I created does not exist in the relevant folder. I then attempted to save this file in the same folder under a different name. To further investigate, I tried copying ana pasting 0the entire report into a new word document.
